After using the Gloria at Mass for a few weeks, it was clear that the assembly was going to have problems joining in. I revised some of the early measures to keep the melody line within a smaller vocal range. Because Lent is almost here, we’ll not use the revisions until the Gloria returns during Easter Vigil.
If anyone else tries the Gloria, please let me know your reactions.
